Packing that happens on its own

Rack-fill projection appears while the order is still being taken, with a per-product breakdown. That turns a freight problem into a sales conversation at the only moment it can still be solved: "we are two shelves short of a full rack — do you want to round up the four-inch?"

Retail container types are set up to match what you actually own — your rack dimensions, your shelf counts, your cart configurations. The packing logic uses those, not a generic assumption about what a rack is. If you do not rack-pack at all, the whole module turns off.

Racks and carts are assets, and they disappear. Container tracking records where yours are — at which location, with which customer, and how many — so the conversation about a missing count starts with a record instead of a guess.
Over a season that record is worth real money. Replacing racks is a capital cost that tends to get treated as a cost of doing business, largely because nobody has the numbers to argue otherwise. Once you can see which customers consistently return equipment and which do not, it becomes a conversation you can actually have.

Rack pick tickets print the packing plan for the people doing the pulling — which products, which quantities, which shelf — so what gets built in the yard matches what the system expects on the truck. When the plan and the load agree, the driver is not sorting it out at the dock and the customer is not receiving a surprise.
Turn it off if you do not work this way
Not every operation rack-packs. If you ship in boxes on pallets, the whole module — the packing calculation, the projection panel, the pick tickets — stays off, and nothing elsewhere in the platform expects it to be there. Modules you do not use should not be clutter you navigate around.
