Organise your data your way — not ours

Records & Custom Fields

Every record type organised into nested groups you define, extended with your own fields, and scoped by roles you control.

At a glance

  • Groups and categories you define, nesting as deep as you need
  • Rearrange the structure by dragging
  • Add your own fields to any record type
  • Ten record types, one consistent way of organising them
  • Roles scoped by company and location

Every operation already has a structure. Products are grouped by program, or species, or the retailer they were grown for. Customers are grouped by market or by rep. That structure exists in how your team talks, and most software makes you abandon it in favour of whatever categories the vendor decided on.

Trees you build yourself

In GrowerLive, records are organised into groups and categories that you define — and groups nest inside other groups, as deep as your business actually goes. You rearrange the tree by dragging things into place. There is no fixed two-level hierarchy to squeeze your operation into.

The same approach applies consistently across the platform: products, customers, customer locations, companies, company locations, assemblies, components, retail containers, vehicles and users. Learn it once and it works everywhere.

Your fields, not just ours

When you need to track something the platform does not have a field for, add one. Choose the record type it belongs to, choose its data type, and decide whether it is editable or read-only. No code, no release, no change order.

Every field records who created it and who last changed it, so a data model that grows over years stays explicable.

The records themselves

Customers and their locations, companies and yours, products, retail containers, vehicles, users and roles — all maintained in one place, with contacts and addresses shared rather than duplicated across screens.

Who sees what

Roles are defined by you and scoped by company and location, controlling both which screens a person can open and which records they can see inside them. Screens themselves can be turned on and off per operation, so your team gets the eight screens they use rather than a menu of forty they do not.

This is what we mean when we say the platform is customizable. Not that we will write you a bespoke version — that the system bends to your structure using configuration you control.
