Connect what you already run

Integrations & API

A documented two-way API, an audit log of every call, and connectors to the systems your business depends on.

At a glance

  • Documented REST API with two-way communication
  • API transaction log — every call, searchable
  • Accounting system sync
  • EDI exchange with retail partners
  • Email and fleet telematics connected in

No platform is the only system a business runs. The useful question is not whether software integrates, but whether you can see what the integration did when something looks wrong.

A two-way API, documented

GrowerLive exposes a documented REST API for reading and writing, so the systems you already run — and the partners who need to exchange data with you — can connect without anyone building a file-drop process. Documentation is generated from the API itself, which means it describes the endpoints as they actually are.

The part that matters at 4pm on a Friday

Every API call is recorded in a transaction log you can search and filter. When a partner says they sent something and your team cannot find it, that argument gets settled by looking rather than by guessing. Integrations fail occasionally in every business; being able to see exactly what arrived, and what happened to it, is the difference between a ten-minute fix and a lost afternoon.

What connects today

  • Accounting — invoices, credit memos and payments synced to QuickBooks, built generically enough to extend to others
  • EDI — 850, 820 and 812 exchange with large retail partners, handled natively
  • Fleet telematics — live stop ETAs and delivery events, provider-agnostic by design
  • Email — sending and correspondence from inside the platform
  • Spreadsheets — Excel and CSV import and export throughout

Built to be extended

Integrations are written against interfaces rather than against a single vendor, which is why adding another accounting package or a different telematics provider is configuration work rather than a rebuild. If there is a system you need connected, that conversation is a normal part of working with us.

That is a deliberate architectural choice, and it is worth understanding why it matters to you rather than to us. Software that hard-codes one vendor tends to treat every new connection as a project, priced accordingly. Building against an interface means the second provider of a given kind costs a fraction of the first — so the answer to "can you connect to what we run?" is usually yes, and usually soon.

Access that respects your permissions

API access is governed by the same roles, companies and locations as the rest of the platform. An integration user sees exactly the scope you grant it, which means connecting a third-party system does not quietly create a way around the permissions you set up for people.

Import as well as export

Getting data out is table stakes. Getting it in is what makes a migration survivable. Spreadsheet import runs throughout the platform, so bringing over a product list, a customer file or a season of history does not require a custom tool — and it is the same path your team uses later for bulk updates.
