June was a big month across the platform. We shipped a completely new custom report builder, expanded order entry with promotions and rack-fill projections, added a visual planning calendar for orders and routes, and continued building out rack and container tracking from the warehouse to the retail shelf. We also made a number of quieter improvements to permissions, mobile layouts, and everyday reliability that we think you'll feel right away.
Reporting
Reporting took a major step forward this month. You can now build your own reports without waiting on a request queue — design the layout, choose your data, and share the finished report with your team.
- New custom report builder, designer, and viewer so your team can create and run reports on demand
- Dashboard tiles and widget tables now adapt cleanly to phones and tablets, so managers can check the numbers from anywhere
- New sales charts and role-based dashboard scoping, so each user sees the metrics that matter to their job
- Dashboard widgets now respect your feature settings, keeping each client's dashboard focused and relevant
- Improved sizing for detail data inside dashboard widgets
Order Flow
Order entry is now a richer decision-making workspace, and order status rules are configurable per client.
- Active specials and ads are now managed directly in the platform and surface in order entry, so reps and customers see current promotions while they build orders
- New rack-fill projection panel with a per-product rack breakdown, plus a default container type on each customer location for faster, more accurate ordering
- On-hand inventory and stocking percentage now appear alongside order entry for better fill decisions
- New weather panel gives order takers local conditions at a glance
- Client-configurable order-status triggers let you automate what happens as orders move through your process
- Order-status edit locks by role prevent changes to orders once they've reached a stage that should be locked down
- Faster, clearer feedback when updating multiple orders at once, plus a fix for a grid error on production-goods inventory rows
Inventory
Warehouse and inventory workflows received both new tooling and important polish.
- New Finalize Inventory screen with a guided three-step wizard, making end-of-cycle inventory finalization clear and repeatable
- New scan history view so you can trace where and when goods were scanned
- Zone is now optional when scanning in, and scan confirmations include the zone name for easier verification
- Corrected square-footage capacity progress bar colors and thresholds so capacity is read accurately at a glance
- Added breadcrumbs to the Company Inventory page and simplified the grid for easier scanning
Production
Staged pulls are now built around a flexible pull tag instead of fixed AM/PM windows, giving you far more control over how work is grouped and released to the floor. Pull tags also support deactivation and reactivation, so you can retire a tag without losing its history.
Container Optimization
Rack and retail container tracking is now live, giving you visibility into where your physical assets are at any point in the cycle.
- New rack and retail container tracking system
- New Move mode makes relocating containers quick and accurate
- Corrected container summary badges for a more reliable overview
- New reusable tree view and breadcrumb navigation for working through container hierarchies
Shipment Planning
Planning is now visual. The new planning calendar brings promotions, orders, and routes together in one scheduling view so you can spot conflicts and gaps before they become problems.
- New planning calendar with layered views for promotions, orders, and routes
- New route types and expanded vehicle details for more accurate route building
- Merchandiser assignment so you always know who is covering each stop
- Route types, routes, and vehicles can now be deactivated and reactivated instead of deleted, preserving history
- Interface polish throughout, including clearer save feedback and loading indicators
Merchandising
Merchandiser assignments now flow through route planning, and retail container counts tie back to the racks your merchandisers service in the field — connecting shelf-level accountability to the rest of your operation.
Entity Management
We invested heavily in permissions and account reliability this month.
- New permission-aware authorization across administrative screens, so access is granted by specific permission rather than broad role membership
- Consistent deactivation and reactivation behavior across records, with clearer visibility of inactive items for users who are allowed to see them
- Container type management is now limited to administrators
- More reliable sign-in and role assignment, including for brand-new users and newly provisioned clients
- Improved onboarding tooling for bringing historical customers, locations, products, orders, inventory, routes, and retail scan data into GrowerLive, so new clients start with their history intact
EDI Integration
Retail scan data from partner systems now loads directly into your existing EDI records, giving you a single, continuous sales history as clients transition onto the platform.
Looking Ahead
Next up, we're continuing to expand the order entry experience, deepening rack-fill and container planning, and rolling the new reporting tools out to more of your team. As always, if there's a report, screen, or workflow you'd like to see built next, tell us — your feedback drives this roadmap.
